Women's March
"WE STAND TOGETHER, RECOGNIZING THAT DEFENDING THE MOST MARGINALIZED AMONG US IS DEFENDING ALL OF US."
PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL APPROACH
THE WOMEN'S MARCH PAGE WAS CREATED AS A STANCE AGAINST THE RIGHTS THAT WERE BEING THREATENED AGAINST MILLIONS OF AMERICAN CITIZENS. THEY ENGAGE PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD TO TALK ABOUT ISSUES GOING ON REGARDING HUMANS RIGHTS, AND UNITE PEOPLE IN A SENSE THAT BRINGS MORE AWARENESS TO THE ISSUES THAT ARE TRULY GOING ON IN SOCIETY. NOT ONLY DO THEY INFORM PEOPLE AROUNDÂ THE WORLD ABOUT SERIOUS ISSUES, BUT THEY PROVIDE PEOPLE WITH THE TOOLS, AND RESOURCESÂ TOÂ RAISE MONEY, AND/OR RAISE THEIR VOICE.

INFORMATION & RESOURCES
WOMEN'S MARCH PROVIDES SUPPORTERS WITH THE TOOLS NECESSARY RELATING TO MAKING A CHANGE IN SOCIETY, WHETHER IT IS REGISTERING TO VOTE, JOINING IN ON THE MARCH, BECOMING MORE EDUCATED ON THINGS GOING ON WORLDWIDE, OR EVEN CONCERNING ISSUES WITHIN ONE'S OWN COMMUNITY/SETTING. VOTING IS AN IMPORTANT REPRESENTATION OF CONTRIBUTING YOUR VOICE, EXPERIENCE, AND BELIEFS TO THE WORLD, WHICH IS PROVIDED IN THE LINK BELOW!

Bibliographic Citations
These are sources that I gathered and utilized within an argumentative research paper regarding women's reproductive rights in my English 101 class. The poem I created would not be as effective as it is, without these sources giving me the necessary information about my topic, in order for me to form an accurate argument in favor of reproductive rights. Hopefully these sources can be of use to you, and will influence you to do your own research. Thank you for your time!
“Reproductive freedom is critical to a whole range of issues. If we can’t take charge of this most personal aspect of our lives, we can’t take care of anything. It should not be seen as a privilege or as a benefit, but a fundamental human right."

A Question of Control: A Poem about Women's Reproductive Rights
This is a poem that I wrote in which explains my beliefs regarding women's reproductive rights. I hope that this prompts people to look more into the issue, and can encourage people to be more open to talking societal issues that are actually worldwide issues.
Enjoy!

About My Project
BECOMING MORE AWARE OF SOCIETAL ISSUES THAT HAVE WORLDWIDE IMPACTS
I was given an assignment in English 101 with the objective of arguing something relating to any topic. I chose the topic of women's reproductive rights in the United States.
While I understand that this is a global issue, I chose to focus on the United States because it is where I'm from, and where I can relate my arguments in a sense that is based my own beliefs and knowledge as to how my society is constructed; whereas I don't understand conditions/have prior knowledge about other regions relating to this specific issue.
My goal with this project is to present the issue, and communicate unto others what my position is, and with the links and information I provide I hope to promote awareness, and even encourage others to be educated on this issue. I hope that this website urges people to feel more comfortable about having these important conversations relating to societal/worldwide issues, and to be more understanding.
